The title for this short film comes from the Lebanese village expression “milk an ant”, which is used to characterise a person who is able to get the most out of something by whatever means necessary.

In Milk of Ants, Sabah battles dementia in an aged care facility while bushfires rage on the television and the world around her becomes increasingly unrecognisable.
